What Artists Do All Day - Edmund de Waal (07/11/13 BBC4)
Have a look at YouTube for a film about Edmund de Waal
The Culture Show: The Art of Chinese Painting (BBC2 - 23/10/13)
Finally had the chance over Christmas and New Year to catch-up on some art programmes I had recorded. Sorry for the delay, because they probably now aren't available on catch-up tv, but possibly on YouTube or if you are a student, then try your university library:
26 October 2013 - 19 January 2014. Victoria & Albert Museum - Masterpieces of Chinese Painting 700 - 1900 brings together the finest examples of Chinese painting from the beginning of the 8th to the end of the 19th century, from small-scale intimate works by monks and literati through to scroll paintings over 14 metres long, many of which have never before been seen in the UK.
Pinterest Addiction!
A few weeks ago Audit Chaos kindly introduced me to Pinterest, but admittedly she did warn me it can be addictive. I now have 32 boards and 728 pins . . . oops I think she might be right!!
In my defense I absolutely love it and it suits me perfectly for research and ideas. As far as i'm concerned it's the best thing since sliced bread.
